ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
There is so much to say that we simply cannot fit it all in this space! But let me try and sum it up as follows:
* In the mid-1960s, Mr. Robert Heisner began training in the martial arts. At that time, he was a new Christian. Shortly after he and his wife were married, he was stationed in Japan during the Vietnam War. While in Japan for two years, he trained many hours daily and earned Black Belts in two different styles. After returning home, he continued training and earned four more Black Belts. He attended Bible school and went into full-time ministry.

* The Lord used the above combination of events to open doors of evangelism using martial arts. Mr. Heisner and Mr. Dallmann visited numerous college campuses (invited in by various college ministries) and did evangelistic karate demonstrations. Many people heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ through these meetings.

* Through this, an evangelistic team was born. That team was called the "Warriors of the Sword". Our team traveled the northeast USA and Canada preaching the Gospel. Thousands heard the salvation message of Jesus Christ.

* Bushido Kai (the style we teach) was birthed in 1989 and is a combination of the numerous styles studied by Mr. Heisner.
​
* Over the years, we have had a number of different "Warriors of the Sword" chapters in different locations.
​
A book has been published and is now available, giving more complete details of the history of our martial arts style and club. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
THE GOSPEL
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
Heaven or Hell - What will it be for you?
The choice is yours! The method is God's!
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36)
The Good News is that we all get to make the choice of our eternal destination. The choice is simple: either we accept or we reject God's Way!
We all need God's salvation. So what then is this Gospel, which is the power of God unto salvation? Here is the Gospel that is taught in the Bible:
The Gospel of Jesus Christ!
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Simply stated, the Gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which He did for us, to pay for the sins which we are guilty of.

So What Does This Mean To You?
It means that if you:
1) Acknowledge that you are a sinner...
2) Understand that you cannot save yourself...
3) Believe that Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, died on the Cross for your sins to save you...
4) Repent of your sin and ask Jesus to forgive you...
5) Give your life to Jesus
Jesus WILL SAVE YOU! You WILL be forgiven and heading for Heaven!

Pray this Prayer!
Ask yourself this question, "If I die right now, will I go to Heaven?" If you are not sure or you know that you would NOT go to Heaven, then you need to make sure right NOW!
Pray the following prayer AND MEAN IT in your heart, and God WILL SAVE YOU! Pray something like this...
"Dear Heavenly Father,
I know that I am a sinner. Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the CROSS in my place for my sins. Thank You for His burial because of my wickedness. I am so sorry for sinning against God and causing such grief. Please forgive me, Lord! Thank You for His resurrection from the dead! I want to live WITH Jesus forever and live FOR Him while I have breath on this earth. Help me, Holy Spirit, to love Jesus and serve Him all the days of my life. I give myself to You.
In Jesus Name, I pray. Amen

Awesome Evangelistic Outreach!
We recently had the privilege of having The Warriors of the Sword team at our church. Our people loved every aspect of their ministry. The preaching was great, the karate demonstration was dazzling, and the Gospel was clearly proclaimed. Initially, I thought this was geared more toward youth. Effective
Warriors of the Sword outreaches are effective in reaching people for Christ!
I had them do an outreach at our Fall Festival. The Gospel was preached, and several people gave their hearts to Christ.

Fantastic Job
​
“Warriors of the Sword” did a fantastic job of presenting the Gospel in between innings during our Niagara Power Baseball home game on June 18th, 2011, at Sal Maglie Stadium in Niagara Falls. Through humor and skill, they applied Biblical truths while doing demonstrations. It was a very effective ministry outreach, and we know the Lord will continue to use it to reach the hearts and minds of the fans who were there.
We appreciate all the organizing Bob Dallmann did to keep the demonstrations on pace with the game. Great job, Warriors!

Entertaining and Engaging

Dynamic
​
Warriors of the Sword completed a dynamic, entertaining, and engaging gospel presentation to approximately 100 children and youth at our Bible club "Kick-Off." The children actively participated while learning scriptures presented in ways they've never experienced.
Our club's theme this year was the Armor of God, and I couldn't have chosen a better presentation of the gospel to begin our year and get our children and youth ready to learn how the scriptures are applied in our lives.
